A Portable Paradise PROM(PT)
This free chapbook grew out of a 2022 poetry workshop Gwendolyn Soper was invited to lead for Swiss-based Pernessy Poets. Inspired by an exchange with Roger Robinson about his poem, “A Portable Paradise”, Gwendolyn brought the prompt to the workshop, then coordinated submissions, edited, designed and produced the resulting chapbook.
Robinson, winner of the 2019 T. S. Eliot Prize for A Portable Paradise (Peepal Tree Press), generously shared the cover photograph. Pernessy Poets was founded by Elizabeth Boquet.
